Having received his bachelor and master degrees of Architecture from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2003 and 2006 respectively.
Kevis is a registered architect and a ceramics artist, who has held several group ceramics exhibitions , at The Pottery Workshop Gallery, Visual Arts Centre, Hong Kong University, and Sanbao Ceramic Art Institute Jingdezhen in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018 respectively; and he has also been invited to exhibit his art works at Asia Contemporary Art Show 2015 Spring by Giantyear Gallery. His works have got selected as Finalist at the Taiwan Ceramics Biennale 2020 competition. He has also joined the International Artist in Residence Program at The Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park, Japan back in 2018.
As an architect, he is intrigued by space and structure. There is seamless relationship between sculpture and architecture. They both speak similar language and form, but vary in scale and materials. In the pursuit of ceramics creation, he tries to explore the possibility of manipulating clay as a media to create different spaces and architectural forms, through the continuation of folding and unfolding process.
